I’ve always been drawn to the places people pass without a second glance: a quiet backroad, an old building, a patch of wildflowers growing where nobody expected them. Photography gave me a way to slow down, look closer, and share what I found.

I’m Dawnna, a Michigan photographer with a dream of exploring far beyond my home state. For now, every adventure starts with curiosity, a camera, and Milly—a tiny purple bear with a very big personality. She’s my travel companion, my unofficial location scout, and usually the reason a simple outing turns into a story.

Milly Roams grew from wanting to share more than my photos. I wanted a place where people could discover overlooked destinations, plan adventures that fit their needs, and share what they see through their own eyes. Whether you’re traveling across the state or exploring ten minutes from home, you belong here.

Some days we find a breathtaking view. Other days we get lost, laugh about it, and find something even better along the way. That’s the adventure I hope to share with you.
